46th Annual Dance Recital

I designed this 92-page recital book from cover to cover in Adobe InDesign. The work included the visual system, typography, page assembly, image correction, copy placement, revisions, preflight, and final print preparation. The photography was supplied by the client.

The finished run was 150 saddle-stitched books with 100 lb. Blazer Digital Cover and 60 lb. Williamsburg Offset interior pages. This was not only a layout exercise. It was a long-form production project that had to stay accurate across dozens of names, photographs, spreads, and late-stage changes before becoming a physical book.

Front cover. The visual system begins with the academy's burgundy palette, dimensional title treatment, and a stage-focused composition.
Staff and inside cover. A complete opening spread that introduces the academy before the student sections begin.
Interior layout. Student photography, names, and recital details are organized within the publication's established visual system. The child's face is covered here for privacy.
Interior layout variation. The framework accommodates different photography and content while maintaining rhythm across the full book. The child's face is covered here for privacy.
